Malangwa is a city ( municipality ) in the Terai in Nepal .
The city forms the administrative seat of the Sarlahi district . The city is located directly on the Indian border. As part of the municipal reform in 2014, the Village Development Committee Musauli to the west was incorporated.
Residents
At the 2011 census, the city of Malangwa (including Musauli) had 30,292 inhabitants (14,724 of them male) in 5266 households.
