Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad ( MISC ), a subsidiary of Petronas , is Malaysia's leading international shipping company . The company is listed on the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI on the Malaysia Stock Exchange .

The main activities of the MISC are ship management, fleet management and various other services related to logistics and freight transport by sea. Since it was founded in 1968, MISC has developed into a major shipping company and is active in the tanker, LNG and offshore business. In 2008 MISC was the tenth largest tanker fleet operator .

MISC announced in November 2011 that the company would withdraw in mid-2012 after considerable losses from the liner shipping segment of container ships . At the beginning of 2010, MISC had already withdrawn from Far East-Europe traffic and concentrated on intra-Asia services. MISC recently operated 30 container ships , of which 16 were own and 14 were chartered.
