Malin Marmbrandt

Malin Marmbrandt (born April 29, 1985 ) is a Swedish athlete who specializes in the triple jump and the long jump .

Career

Triple jump

In 2010 she won her first Swedish championship title in the triple jump with 12.74 meters. She won her second medal at the Swedish Athletics Championships in 2015. Behind Madeleine Nilsson and Jasmin Sabir , she won the bronze medal with a width of 12.89 meters. With a personal best of 13.11 meters, she won her second Swedish championship title in 2016. A year later she secured the silver medal at the Swedish championships with 13.24 meters behind Aina Grikšaitė .

On May 25, 2017, she set her personal best with 13.34 meters outdoors. In the hall she set her best performance with 13.15 in Malmö on February 27, 2016.

Long jump

At the Swedish championships she does not start in the triple jump competitions, but also in the long jump competitions . In 2007 she just missed the Swedish championship title in the long jump. At 6.02 meters, it was the same width as the winner Erica Jarder . But her second best distance was worse than Jader's. Between 2015 and 2017 she won the bronze medal at the Swedish championships.

On July 7, 2017, she set her personal best outdoors at 6.52 meters in the Spanish municipality of Monachil . She improved her best indoor performance on February 27, 2016 in Växjö to 6.33 meters.
