Malou Trasthe Prytz (born March 6, 2003 in Ryd ) is a Swedish singer . She gained fame primarily through her participation in the Melodifestivalen .

Life

Prytz comes from the village of Ryd in the municipality of Tingsryd . In spring 2019, at the age of 15, she took part in Melodifestivalen 2019 , the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . She sang the song I Do Me there and she made it into the final, where she was last. In June 2019 she released her first EP called Enter .

In 2020, Prytz participated again in the Melodifestivalen , where she entered the second chance round ( Andra chansen ) with the contribution Ballerina . She was eliminated there in the duel against Paul Rey and his song Talking in My Sleep .
