Tingsryd is a village ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Kronobergs län and the capital of the municipality of the same name . The place is on Lake Tiken.
economy
The resident companies are active in the food industry , boat building as well as in the metal and plastics industries. Every year at the end of July there is a market in Tingsryd with barkers and many visitors.
Sports
The most successful so far has been the local ice hockey team , Tingsryds AIF , which has already spent several seasons in the Svenska Hockeyligan but has not been able to achieve a championship title. Currently the club plays in the HockeyAllsvenskan .
In 2003 a new trotting track was inaugurated in Tingsryd , which is Sweden's longest trotting track with a length of 1,609 meters.
