Urshult is a town ( Tatort ) near Lake Åsnen in southern Sweden . Urshult is located in the municipality of Tingsryd in the historic province of Småland.
A traditional apple variety was named after the village. The variety is dark red and is harvested in December. It is called in Swedish Urshults kungsäpple .
There is a church in the village, which is directly adjacent to the cemetery . It was completed in 1808.
