Individual evidence

  1. The book by Richard Parkinson ( [1] 1909, page 226) names an area of 1000 hectares or 10 km² for the Nuguria Islands. According to Sustainability of Agriculture in Bougainville Province, the Atoll Nuguria accounts for 6.1 km². This leaves around 4 km² for the Malum atoll.
