Manabu Komatsubara ( Japanese 小 松原 学 , Komatsubara Manabu ; born April 2, 1981 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Komatsubara learned to play soccer in the youth team of Bellmare Hiratsuka . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Bellmare Hiratsuka (today: Shonan Bellmare). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 1999 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 53 games. In 2002 he moved to league competitor Ventforet Kofu . For the club he played eight games. He then played for FC Horikoshi (2004-2005). At the end of 2005 he ended his career as a soccer player.
