The Mand ( Persian مند), also Khor-ziaret, is a river in southern Iran . It rises in the province of Fars , west of the city of Shiraz . Its upper course was previously regarded as a separate river ("Kara-Aghatch"), which was revised by EC Ross in 1883. The Mand flows to the southeast and turns north of the 28 ° latitude to the west, where it flows into the Persian Gulf about 130 km south of Bushehr in the province of the same name .
