Nora Zehetner
Nora Angela Zehetner (born February 5, 1981 in El Paso , Texas ) is an American actress .
Life
Zehetner was born in El Paso, Texas, to John Carol Zehetner and Nancy Lynne Nelson . She attended elementary school in Richardson, Texas , a suburb of Dallas before moving back to El Paso.
When she was 14, she went to Dallas where she attended high school . She also participated in a year-long program at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science , a program for post-high school students interested in engineering and medicine .
Acting career
At the age of 18, Zehetner began her acting career and moved to Los Angeles . She starred in a number of films such as Tart - Jet Set Kids ( 2001 ), American Pie 2 (2001), RSVP ( 2002 ), May (2002), The Song of Rose ( 2003 ), as well as in several television series and commercials . Her most famous role was as Laynie Hart on the Everwood series . Her films are mostly of the comedy or horror genre, like May or RSVP
Recent productions with Zehetner include the film Brick , which won the Special Jury Prize for Originality of Vision at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival , in which she plays the role of the wealthy femme fatale Laura . The film's soundtrack includes a full version of her performance of "The Sun Whose Rays Are All Ablaze".
She played the lead role as Christy in the horror thriller Beneath , the first co-production by Paramount and MTV Films .
Zehetner also guest-starred for eight episodes as Eden McCain on the Heroes series .
Together with actors and comedians Tom Arnold and Dax Shepard , Zehetner began a tour to the Persian Gulf in 2007 to meet soldiers stationed there and to give autographs.
In 2007 Zehetner starred together with Marisa Berenson in the short film Jalouse: Elegante, famous, beautiful, jolie , which was produced by the French fashion magazine Jalouse on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
She took on the role of Reed Adamson in Grey's Anatomy season 6 .
