Mandaon is a Filipino municipality in the Masbate Province , in the administrative region V, Bicol. It has 41,262 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 26 barangays . It is classified as a third income class community in the Philippines. The community center is located approx. 32 km west of the provincial capital Masbate City and can be reached from there via the coastal road. Their neighboring communities are Aroroy in the north, Milagros in the east and Balud in the southwest. The municipality's long coastline lies on the Sibuyan Sea .
