The Mandible Cirque is a striking mountain basin on the Borchgrevink coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located 8 km west-southwest of Cape Phillips on the east side of the Daniell Peninsula .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1966 after its appearance, which is reminiscent of mandibles in supervision .
