Coordinates: 32 ° 31 ′ S , 115 ° 44 ′ E The City of Mandurah is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 174 km² and has about 80,000 inhabitants (2016).
Mandurah is located on the west coast of Australia about 65 kilometers south of the capital Perth . The seat of the City Council is in the city of Mandurah in the district of the same name, where about 7800 inhabitants live (2016).

The Mandurah Council has 13 members. The 12 Councilors are elected by the residents of the four wards (three each from North, East, Coastal and Town Ward). The mayor (mayor) and chairman of the council is elected by all residents of the LGA.
