Manfred Bacher
Manfred Bacher (born January 24, 1923 in Wasserburg am Inn ; † July 31, 1994 in Haidholzen ) was a German author , game inventor and glider pilot .
At first, Bacher was a teacher at a village elementary school (Zaisering) before he appeared as an author and collaborator at Bayerischer Rundfunk for a mountain climbing program.
Bacher's books played in the village idyll and did not transfigure it, but rather described the adversities and provincialism of Bavarian folk life in a humorous and amusing way and are thus in the tradition of Ludwig Thoma , but without reaching its depth. Bacher also tried successfully as a game inventor with "Who knows, wins".
The Munich tower scribe awarded him the Bayerischer Poetentaler in 1993 .
