Manfred Buchinger

Manfred Buchinger (born May 25, 1952 in Obersdorf ) is an Austrian chef .

Life

Manfred Buchinger was head chef at the Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant in Vienna, but also cooked in France and Japan before setting up his own business in Riedenthal in 1999 . In his Gasthaus Zur Alten Schule , the former village school, in which he now also runs a cooking school, he offers down-to-earth dishes from Lower Austria. He obtains most of the ingredients from the region.

Trivia

The writer Eva Rossmann found during research for her crime novel Crafty at work at the Gasthaus Zur Alten school so pleased that she graduated from there a cooking lesson and now Buchinger is Souchefin.
