Manfred Diehl

Manfred Diehl (born November 13, 1950 in Westerhorn ) is a former artistic gymnast and gymnastics trainer.

Manfred Diehl is the twin brother of the gymnast Peter , also multiple German champion. Both were members of the ETSV Gut Heil Itzehoe, from 1976 members and team champions in the German Gymnastics League with the Siegerland Artistic Gymnastics Association in 1978 and 1979 and together members of the MTV Hörnerkirchen, which was merged with SV Hörnerkirchen in 2001, and still do gymnastics together today in the Show gymnastics group "Los Barros".

Manfred Diehl was trained as a national gymnast at the Federal Training Center in the German Gymnastics School in Frankfurt am Main until 1975. He became German champion in floor exercise in 1975 and in horse jumping in 1978 . He took part in the 1978 World Gymnastics Championships in Strasbourg .

From September 20, 1982 until the end of 2009 he was national trainer for artistic gymnastics in Luxembourg .
