Manfred Glowatzki
Manfred Glowatzki (* 1933 in Essen ; † January 19, 2014 in Steingaden ) was a German church musician and trombone choir director.
Glowatzki studied church music and trumpet at the Folkwang School in Essen. His composition teacher was Siegfried Reda . After working as a church musician in Essen, he was appointed trombone attendant of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Braunschweig in 1963 .
Compositions
- “O Savior, tear open the heavens”. Choral cantata for 4stg. according to Choir, 2 clarinets (violins), double bass and keyboard instrument
- "The best time of the year is mine". Thirty songs by Martin Luther in movements for three-part mixed choir
- "The whole world, Lord Jesus Christ". Small cantata for mixed choir, clarinet (oboe), organ (manualiter) and double bass
