Manfred Hart

Manfred Hart (born November 6, 1953 ) is a German journalist . From April 2007 to January 2014 he was editor-in-chief of bild.de (operator: BILD digital GmbH & Co. KG), the online portal for the " Bild " newspaper from Axel Springer AG .

Life

Manfred Hart studied political science and history with a master’s degree. After attending the German School of Journalism in Munich, he began his career as an editor for the Munich tabloid " Abendzeitung ". He later went to Axel Springer AG, where he was news chief and deputy editor-in-chief of the printed “Bild” newspaper as well as managing editor of “ Welt am Sonntag ” (WamS) until December 1998, and from August 1999 to December 2000 deputy editor-in-chief of WamS. From January 2001 to February 2005 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the "Bild" newspaper. In March 2005, he moved to Hubert Burda Media , where he was deputy editor-in-chief Patricia Riekel at the magazine “ Bunte ” until March 2007 . Since April 2007 he has been with the Springer Group again as editor-in-chief of the Internet portal "bild.de", and since February 2014 as editor-in-chief for digital development projects at the "Bild" newspaper.
