Manfred Hofbauer

Manfred Hofbauer (born February 6, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Hofbauer has been a member of his party to the Vienna City Council and State Parliament since November 2010 .

Life

Manfred Hofbauer grew up in Simmering , Vienna's 11th district , where he attended compulsory schools from 1966 to 1975. In 1979 he completed an apprenticeship in communications electronics at Siemens AG . Hofbauer has been working as a specialist in the field of information technology since 1980 . From 2007 to 2010 he studied business administration at the University of Klagenfurt ; During this period he was also self-employed.

Manfred Hofbauer has been a member of the FPÖ-Simmering since 1995. His political career began in 2000 when he moved into the district council of Simmering as a free district council. In 2008 he was elected club chairman (parliamentary group chairman) of the FPÖ district councils of Simmering. Also in 2008 he was elected deputy district party chairman.

Hofbauer has been a member of the state parliament since November 2010.
