Manfred Kainz (born January 15, 1960 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and is an entrepreneur (founder, partner and managing director of TCM International ). From 2005 to 2012 he was a member of the Styrian state parliament .

education

After primary school in Sankt Josef (West Styria) and secondary school in Preding , Kainz attended the commercial school in Graz and completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk. The apprenticeship was completed at the Otto Baumgartner & Co machine factory in Graz-Puntigam.

Career

Then Manfred Kainz worked in the family business in Sankt Josef, at Johann Eberhard GmbH. Since it was too tight there for 3 managers, he switched to Masterfoods Austria. After several years as a sales representative at Masterfoods and in the sale of cutting tools , he founded his first company at the age of 25, DI Weber GmbH, and in 1990 TCM GmbH Tool Consulting & Management. In 1998, TCM-International Tool Consulting & Management GmbH was founded, based in Graz. As an entrepreneur and managing director of TCM International, Manfred Kainz was ranked 17th in the "Top 100 Managers" by the "Business Month" magazine in 2008. Manfred Kainz was also a founding member of the ACStyria mobility cluster and its first managing director. In 2016, Federal President Heinz Fischer awarded him the professional title of "Kommerzialrat".

Political career

Manfred Kainz has been chairman of the Bundestag for the district of Deutschlandsberg since October 2002 , district party chairman from August 15, 2004 to October 2, 2015 and was a member of the state parliament from October 25, 2005 to September 17, 2012. The main focus of his political activities are finances, new technologies and economic issues and European spokesman for the Styrian state parliament

Manfred Kainz was also a member of a cabaret in Stainz for ten years .

Manfred Kainz has been Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland since 2017 .
