Manfred Rudhart

Manfred Rudhart (born October 15, 1965 in the Allgäu ) is a German manager . From 2013 to the end of 2015 he was CEO of DB Regio AG . Since then, he has been CEO of DB Arriva .

Life

After his first few years in the research and development of laser applications, Rudhart received his doctorate in 1995 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 1996 he worked for the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy & ). From 2002 to 2007 he was a member of the management of the Düsseldorf office.

On January 1, 2008, Rudhart joined Deutsche Bahn as Chief Financial Officer of DB Regio AG. On February 14, 2008, he was appointed to the Supervisory Board of DB Regio NRW GmbH with effect from the following day. In 2013 he became CEO of DB Regio.

He took over this role from Frank Sennhenn , who moved to DB Netz as CEO in May 2013 .

Rudhart took over the chairmanship of DB Arriva on January 1, 2016. Jörg Sandvoss has been appointed as his successor at the head of DB Regio .
