Manilius is an impact crater on the front of the moon on the eastern edge of the Mare Vaporum , west of Menalaus in the Montes Haemus . The shape of the crater is irregular and there are traces of extensive landslides on the inner wall.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Roman poet and astrologer Marcus Manilius .
