Manima (also: Maneema ) is a small island in the Tongatapu archipelago in the north of Tongatapu in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .

The Motu is located off the north coast of the main island of Tongatapu, along with Pangaimotu , ʻOneata and Nukunukumotu . in the north Makaha'a joins in the second reef rim . The islands form the west end of the Piha Passage (Astrolabe Channel).
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Tongatapu Group, Manima is occasionally hit by cyclones .
