The Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadı (also Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadyumu , German Manisa Stadium of May 19 ) is a football stadium in Manisa, Turkey . The soccer clubs Manisaspor and Altınordu İzmir play their home games here. It can accommodate 16,597 spectators.
Surname
The stadium was named after May 19 ( Turkish 19 Mayıs ) in 1919. The arrival of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in Samsun on this day marked the beginning of the war of liberation and is still celebrated as a national holiday in Turkey today.
