Manneh Sillah Memorial Court

The Manneh Sillah Memorial Court (or Manneh Sillah Basketball Court , Manneh Sillah memorial Lawn ) is the most important basketball court in the West African state of Gambia . The court , on which international matches are also held, is located in the capital Banjul on Independence Drive . In addition to basketball , volleyball is also played there.

The court was modernized by the Father Gough Sports Foundation in 2009 and reopened on January 2, 2010. The aim of the modernization was to adapt the sports facility to the latest standards of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). The investment was 1.8 million dalasi . The lighting system, the playing field and the changing rooms as well as the toilets were renovated. A billboard was also installed.
