The Mannheim Business School is a graduate school of the University of Mannheim . It was founded in 2005 from the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Mannheim as a non-profit company and has been offering business management training programs for a fee since then . 75% are owned by the Prechel Foundation and 25% by the University of Mannheim.

Since November 1, 2010, the president has been the business administration professor Jens Wüstemann , the chairman of the 28-member board of trustees is the chairman of the board of management of BASF , Kurt Bock. Most of the courses are held by professors from the Faculty of Business Administration.

Course offer

Mannheim Business School offers several English-language Master of Business Administration courses: the "Mannheim MBA" as a one-year full-time and two-year part-time program, the "Mannheim Executive MBA" with the École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales (ESSEC) in Cergy ( France) the part-time "ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA" and with the Tongji University in Shanghai (People's Republic of China) the "Mannheim & Tongji Executive MBA".

The auditing part of the program offered since 2008 "Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation" ( Auditing and Tax ) depends on the AQAS according to § 8a Wirtschaftsprüferordnung accredited and allows the professional exam immediately after graduation store in abbreviated form. In addition, the Mannheim Business School offers multi-day intensive management courses and advanced training programs for companies.
