Mantas Adomėnas (born October 1, 1972 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian philosopher and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in Karoliniškės from 1979 to 1990 , he studied classical philology at the Vilniaus universitetas (VU) from 1990 to 1996, and from 1996 to 2000 he did his doctorate in philosophy at Cambridge University on the subject of Nature in Flux : Plato 's Reception of Presocratic Cosmological Theories . From 2000 to 2006 he taught at Gonville and Caius College , from 2004 as a lecturer at VU, from 2006 to 2008 he was an advisor to Andrius Kubilius , member of the Seimas since 2008 , elected in the constituency of Old Town Vilnius .

He is a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .

Adomėnas is married. His wife Viktorija is a designer.
