Mantas Strolia (born February 28, 1986 in Ignalina , Lithuanian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian biathlete and cross-country skier.

biography

His mother is Kazimiera Strolienė (* 1960 ), a former Lithuanian biathlete and cross-country skier, his trainer. His father is a police colonel and biathlon trainer Vytautas Strolia (* 1960).

After graduating from secondary school Ignalina, Mantas studied at the Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademija and then a master's degree at the Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas . Strolia participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver . There he finished 46th in the cross-country sprint (1.6 km) and was 18th in the team sprint with Modestas Vaičiulis .

His first trainers were Jonas Paslauskas and Igoris Terentjevas ; now he's being trained by his mother.
