Manu Quijera Poza (born January 13, 1998 in Pamplona ) is a Spanish javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Manu Quijera gained his first international experience in 2014 when he won the silver medal in the B final at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing with a width of 69.05 m. The following year he finished fourth at the Youth World Championships in Cali with 76.48 m and in 2016 he was eliminated from the qualification at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 68.91 m. In 2017 he came sixth at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with a throw of 71.12 m and in 2018 he won the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo with a width of 74.98 m. In 2019, he finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 79.22 m.

In 2019 Quijera became the Spanish javelin champion.
