Manuel Chavarría Zavala (born October 6, 1951 in La Coruña, Francisco I. Madero , Coahuila ), also known by his origins by the nickname El Coruña , is a former Mexican football player on the position of a defender .

Life

Chavarría began his professional career at CF Torreón and, after its promotion to the top division, played the Diablos Blancos' debut game in the 1969/70 season .

In 1971 he moved to Club Deportivo Guadalajara and became a national player, who completed a total of 12 missions for the Mexican national soccer team in 1971 and 1972 .

From 1976 to the end of his career in 1983, Chavarría was under contract with Tecos UAG .
