Manuela Felix

Manuela Felix (born November 4, 1984 ) is a German sportswoman in the squad of the German Shooting Federation . She is active in the Olympic disciplines of small caliber and air rifles . Felix also studied biomedical engineering and received his doctorate in 2016 with a thesis on radiation therapy at the University Hospital Mannheim. Their clubs are SV Sulzbach , Tus Hilgert and the FV Schießsportzentrum Suhl .

At the Universiade in Bangkok in August 2007 she won the individual gold medal with the air rifle and silver with the team (with Jessica Kregel and Beate Gauß ). This team also won the silver medal in the small bore three-position battle .

Also in August 2007 she started at the German championships with the small-bore rifle (for Suhl) and with the air rifle (for Flörsheim). After a fifth place with the air rifle and fourth place in the KK three-position fight, she became German champion in the (non-Olympic) KK prone competition in front of her teammate Barbara Lechner .
