Manuela Martini (* 1963 in Mainz ) is a German writer , she also publishes under the pseudonyms Lou Peabody and Fran Ray.

life and work

Manuela Martini studied medicine , history , literary studies and Romance studies in Mainz, Munich , Paris and Rome . She then worked as an assistant director and made commercial, industrial and documentary films. After several years in Australia , Manuela Martini now lives in southern Spain.

She writes thrillers and crime novels for young people and adults, the locations of which mostly corresponded to their respective places of residence. From her thrillers published since 2010 under the pseudonym Fran Ray, which u. a. dealing with topics such as nutrition, genetic engineering , overpopulation and globalization , the first (“Die Saat”, 2010) was translated into seven languages ​​and has appeared in numerous European countries.
