The volleyball club "Eintracht" Mendig is a volleyball club from Mendig in Rhineland-Palatinate , whose first men's team played in the 2nd Bundesliga until 2012 .
Second Bundesliga men
The first men's roster for the 2011-12 season consisted of fifteen players. The coach was Bernd Werscheck , the assistant coach was Niklas Rademacher . As team manager, Horst Paffrath was in charge of the Bundesliga team.

history
The men from VC Mendig played in 1996/97 and from 1998 to 2005 in the 1st Bundesliga , in the 2004/05 season under the name Maoam Mendig . After retiring to the Regionalliga in 2005 for financial reasons, they were promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga South in 2008 , where they became champions in 2011 . After leaving coach Bernd Werscheck , the company retired from competitive sports in 2012.
