Niklas Rademacher (born March 3, 1982 in Wesel , Germany ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career Beach

Niklas Rademacher and David Klemperer became vice-European champion of the U19 in 1999. In 2000 he finished third at the U19 European Championship together with Julius Brink . He then played again with Klemperer, with whom he had his most successful time. The duo came third in the German championship in 2001 and 2004 . At the 2003 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro , they finished ninth. In 2004 they also achieved fourth place at the European Championships in Timmendorfer Strand and second place at the World Tour tournament in Stavanger . After separating from Klemperer, Rademacher only played sporadically on the beach due to his stay in Canada and numerous injuries. In 2005 Thomas Kröger had his last international appearance at the 2005 World Cup in Berlin . From 2006 to 2010 Rademacher only played on a national level with various partners (including old master Burkhard Sude ).

Career hall

Parallel to beach volleyball, Niklas Rademacher also played indoor volleyball as an attacker in the outer position, initially until 1999 at TuB Bocholt . He then moved to the Bundesliga for Moerser SC and SV Bayer Wuppertal . From 2001 to 2004 he concentrated on his international beach career. From 2004 to 2008 he played as a student at Dalhousie University in Canada. After further Bundesliga appearances from 2008 to 2010 at evivo Düren , where he was often absent due to injuries, Niklas Rademacher ended up with second division club VC Eintracht Mendig . Here he won the 2nd Bundesliga South as a player and assistant coach in 2011 . Rademacher has been a player coach in the regional league team of SG Aachen-Düren since 2012 .
