María Mercedes Talamante Arias (partly also Talamantes , born October 4, 1994 ) is a Mexican athlete who specializes in the sprint .

Athletic career

María Mercedes Talamante gained her first international experience at the Summer Universiade 2019 in Naples , where she made it to the semi-finals in the 100-meter run and was eliminated there with 11.95 seconds. In addition, she was fourth in the Mexican 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.82 s.

In 2018 Talamantes became the Mexican champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
