Maradi III is one of the three arrondissements of the city of Maradi in Niger .

The arrondissement is located in the south of the urban area and borders Maradi II in the north . Maradi III is divided into 15 districts : Ali Dan Sofo, Bourdja, Bourja (Sapeur Pompier), Camp des Gardes (Bourdja), Camp Gendarmerie, CHR, Dan Goulbi, École Normale, Hassao, Limantchi, Lycée Dan Kassawa, Maradaoua, Avicole station , Université de Maradi and Yan Daka.

The administrative unit Maradi III was founded as a municipality ( commune urbaine ) in 2002 , when the city of Maradi was converted into a community of three municipalities ( communauté urbaine ). In 2010, the three arrondissements emerged from the municipalities of Maradis.

At the 2012 census, Maradi III had 86,214 inhabitants who lived in 12,570 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 49,776 in 7,926 households.
