Marc A. Herren
Marc A. Herren (* 21st March 1976 in Bern ) is a Swiss science fiction - author .
Life
Marc A. Herren has a degree in business administration HF and works in management position for a major Swiss bank. After participating in various writing seminars, he was hired by Perry Rhodan - Editor-in-Chief Klaus N. Frick in 2008 for the spin-off of the Perry Rhodan magazine series , Perry Rhodan-Action . Three more booklet novels in this series appeared in quick succession from his pen.
In 2009, Herren wrote a novel each for the science fiction series Atlan and for the science fantasy series SunQuest . Since February 2010, he has been one of the regular authors of the Perry-Rhodan first edition.
Herren is the first author from Switzerland to write novels for the Perry-Rhodan series. He is also the first Perry Rhodan author to appear as a fictional character in the series before writing novels for her himself. The author Leo Lukas used Alphonsinus as the middle name, but this is fictitious.
His other engagements include working as press officer for the Swiss NLA women's volleyball team Zeiler Köniz and working at a Scandinavian diving base in Gran Canaria.
As of August 2009, Herren took a year off from his main job to devote himself to writing and diving in Gran Canaria.
