Marc Biver
Marc Biver (born November 21, 1951 in Luxembourg ), who has lived in Switzerland since he was 8, is a former Tour de Suisse director.
Until 2004 he was general director of the Swiss branch of the marketing agency IMG ( International Management Group ) and has been general director of the Kazakh professional cycling team Astana since 2006 . Marc Biver is considered to be Tony Rominger's mentor . With the post with the Astana team he fulfilled a "lifelong dream" according to his own statements.
From 2009 to 2013 Biver was President of the Swiss Triathlon Association Swiss Triathlon . His brother Jean-Claude Biver is an entrepreneur and manager in the Swiss watch industry.
