Marc Bourdeau

Marc Bourdeau is a Canadian pianist .

Life

He has performed in concerts and recordings with some of the best Canadian musicians of his generation, including singers such as Jean-François Lapointe, Agathe Martel, Kevin McMillan, Brett Polegato, Sharon Coste and Karina Gauvin . He performed in North and South America, in Europe and Asia, with engagements at the Ravinia, Montpellier, Stuttgart, Verbier, Bath, Launaudière, Nagoya, Sendai and Maracaibo festivals, and he worked together in master classes with famous singers like Peter Schreier , Thomas Hampson , Jorma Hynninen and Hughes Cuénod. He is visiting professor at the Conservatoire Neuchâtelois (Switzerland), and he studied in Montreal, Geneva, New York and London with Yvonne Hubert, Béla Síki , Maria Curcio, Paul Hamburger , Roger Vignoles and Martin Katz.

Over the past year he has given instrumental and vocal interpretation workshops and classes at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts , the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and the Summer Academy of the Victoria Conservatory , at the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra de Montréal and at the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute.
