Marc Eichmann (born June 18, 1980 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss ice hockey goalkeeper who has spent most of his career with SC Langenthal in the Swiss National League B.
Career
Marc Eichmann began his career as a goalkeeper at EHC Dübendorf . From there he moved to Zurich. With the GCK Lions he played eight games in the 2000/01 season in the National League B. In the 2001/02 season he completed one game for the ZSC Lions and 13 games for the club's U20 team. He then moved to SC Bern for three seasons , with whom he became Swiss champions for the first time in 2004 .
In summer 2005 he was signed by HC Lugano . There he could not prevail and moved to EHC Chur , where he played 19 games. From the 2006/07 season, Eichmann was under contract with SC Langenthal . In the 2011/12 season he was named the best goalkeeper in the National League B. At the same time he was also champion of the National League B that year.
Marc Eichmann resigned after the 2015/16 season. At this point he was the player with the most games (450) in the history of the SCL. He stayed at SCL AG, where he became CFO. He is also a goalie trainer and operational manager at SCL AG.
