Marc Graf
Marc Graf (* 1962 in Zurich ) is a Swiss forensic psychiatrist . Since June 2014 he has been Clinical Professor for Forensic Psychiatry at the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel .
Life
Graf grew up in Graubünden . He studied medicine at the University of Basel and initially worked in surgery . In 1996 he began training as a psychiatrist and received his doctorate in 1998. Since 2011, he has been director of the forensic clinic at the University Psychiatric Clinic in Basel, succeeding Volker Dittmann . His habilitation took place in 2013 and he was elected clinical professor in June 2014. Graf is also a lecturer in the criminal law department of the Law Faculty of the University of Basel and co-author of the textbook forensic psychiatry by Norbert Nedopil .
