Marc Margielsky

Marc Margielsky (born November 18, 1972 in Krefeld ) is a German illustrator , designer , animator , programmer and painter.

Life

After training as a graphic-technical assistant for design, he studied communication design at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld . He has been working as an illustrator since 1992 and has also been active as a communication designer and animator since 2000.

2007 Marc Margielsky published two animal books he in collaboration with the biologist Sabine Dahm and the WDR - editor Matthias Körnich ( The Program with the Mouse wrote / laughter and factual stories). With the sports reporter Marcel Reif , Andreas Richter and the book author Corinna Harder , he developed a soccer book for young people on the occasion of the soccer World Cup in Germany in 2006 . Margielsky has also published two love guides for young women in collaboration with the book author Ilona Einwohlt .

As a sculptor , Marc Margielsky builds sand and ice figures and creates relief pictures from acrylic .

The styles that Marc Margielsky uses for his work are very different. Stylistically, he often deals with photorealism , surrealism , pop art and comic art . Thematically, his works move in the comic, fantasy and sci-fi area, but also on the erotic and horror level. In the latter case, Margielsky produces a few works that can be ascribed to the Gore scene . Margielsky also uses his art more and more often as a form of political and social criticism.
