Marcel Avdić (born February 28, 1991 in Stuttgart ) is a German - Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player . His father is Bosnian, his mother is German.
Career
His parents registered him in March 1998 with TSV Mühlhausen , a small club in Stuttgart. In 2004 he moved to the youth department of the Stuttgarter Kickers and in 2008 to the U-19 of the Karlsruher SC . After two seasons in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga for KSC , he was signed for the first team by third division club SpVgg Unterhaching for the 2009/10 season . Avdić made his professional debut when he was substituted on the first matchday against SV Wehen Wiesbaden shortly before the end. In summer 2012 he moved to Kickers Offenbach within the league . After a year and the forced relegation of Offenbach, Avdić was without a club from summer 2013. In January 2014, the regional league team SV Waldhof Mannheim signed him . After a good six months with the Romanian first division club Otelul Galati, Avdić was initially without a club before he joined the district division Nafi Stuttgart in his hometown. On December 2, 2016, he signed a contract with the Hessian regional league team Teutonia Watzenborn-Steinberg . After Avdić relegated with Teutonia Watzenborn-Steinberg from the Regionalliga Südwest , he joined SSV Reutlingen in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg for a year .
Marcel Avdić has played several international games for various Bosnian-Herzegovinian youth national teams.
