Marcel Blatti (* 1975 in Switzerland ) is a Swiss film and theater composer and percussionist.

life and work

The musician, who lives in Berlin, is the head of the band "Sun Of Moon" Motor Music and forms the duo " OY " with Joy Frempong . As a musician he appears under the pseudonym "Lleluja-Ha". Victoria Behr designed his stage costume with the eye-catching head mask .

Blatti studied at the Lucerne School of Music. Since the 1990s he has worked as a drummer, composer and arranger for various bands, including "Felka" and "Mãozinha", and has released several records. In 2004 he founded the electro-pop duo " Pola " with Oliver Kuster .

He composed and produced the music for Leander Haußmann's 2005 movie NVA . For numerous productions by Stefan Puchers a . a. Die Orestie und Sturm , Blatti wrote the music, also for Simone Aughterlony's performance pieces Performers on Trial (2005), Bare Back Lying (2006), Tonic (2008) and The Best and Worst of Us (2008), We need to talk (2011) . In 2014 Blatti composed the music for the dance piece “Parade” by the Belgian choreographer Ives Thuwis-De Leeuw for the symphony orchestra and the big band of the Hessischer Rundfunk .
