Marcel Duriez

Marcel Duriez (born June 20, 1940 in Seclin ) is a former French hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .

In 1959 he won silver at the Mediterranean Games . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , he was eliminated in the quarter-finals and at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade in 1962 in the preliminary run. In 1963 he won silver again at the Mediterranean Games.

In the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, he was sixth at the European Championships in 1966 in Budapest, he won bronze, and at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, he was with his personal best of 13.7 s seventh.

He was five times French champion (1963, 1965-1968) and once Japanese champion (1963).
