Marcel Moering

Marcel Möring (born September 5, 1957 in Enschede ) is a Jewish Dutch writer.

life and work

For his second novel, The Great Desire , he received the AKO Literature Prize . His third novel In Babylon was also awarded several Dutch and Belgian prizes. Both novels were great hits with audiences. His novel The Night Place takes place in the Dutch town of Assen . “The construction, style and narrative perspective” of this novel show “how strongly this author is influenced by the great role models Proust, Joyce and Faulkner,” wrote the FAZ reviewer. Marcel Möring lives in Rotterdam .
