Marcel Mahouvé (born January 16, 1973 in Douala , Cameroon ) is a former football player from Cameroon .

He played 38 international matches for the Cameroon national soccer team and was a participant in the 1998 soccer World Cup in France . There they were unfortunately eliminated in the preliminary round and missed the last sixteen by only one point. In the youth, the clubs Dynamo Douala and Putra Samarinda were stations of Mahouvé. In the 2005/2006 season and at the beginning of the 2006/2007 season, the midfielder played for 1. FC Saarbrücken . However, his contract was terminated in August 2006. He is the uncle of Francis , Nicole and Sylvie Banecki .
