Marcello Bonini Olas
Marcello Bonini Olas (born January 1, 1917 in Rimini , † January 13, 2007 in Rome ) was an Italian theater director and actor .
Life
Bonini Olas studied acting at the "Accademia dell'Arte Drammatica" with Nera Grossi Carini and made his stage debut at the side of Nino Besozzi . In the 1960s and 1970s he directed the “Compagnia La Plautina di Roma”, which specialized in classical pieces and brought works by the eponymous Plautus , Niccolò Machiavelli , Luigi Pirandello and Georges Feydeau to the stage. In addition, he traveled all over Europe as an actor and reciter .
Occasionally Bonini took Ola's film and television offers; he was first seen in the cinema in 1947 in Caterina di Siena ; in total he played around forty times for the film. His television work includes original material as well as productions of well-known pieces. He always played character roles.
