Nino Besozzi

Nino Besozzi (actually Giuseppe Besozzi , also Nino Besòzzi ; born February 6, 1901 in Milan , † February 1, 1971 there ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Besozzi, the son of an industrialist, graduated as an accountant, but turned to the theater and appeared in the ensemble of Elena Wronowska and Romano Calò for the first time in 1919 . As a teenage lover he was seen alongside Maria Melato and Elvira Betrone before he went to the “Compagnia Nazionale” in 1921, where he alternated with Sergio Tofano in the cast of the leading roles. Further stations were Ruggero Ruggeri in 1923 and the following year with Giulio Paoli / Marcello Giorda , the "Teatro del Convergno" with Enzo Ferrieri and in 1925 a contract with the company of Dora Menichelli / Armando Migliari / Olga Pescatori . Then he returned to Ruggeri to perform under Mario Niccodemi in 1927 .

Besozzi played with Luigi Almirante and Andreina Pagnani in 1928; then he was on the road with the eighth edition of the famous Za-Bum , which was on tour with Lucciole della città . Two years with Dina Galli and Enrico Viarisio followed; from 1933 he was chief comedian of his own troupe, which he united in 1935 with the Spettacoli Palmer and then with Menichelli and Migliardi. In 1937/38 he finally teamed up with Armando Falconi and Sarah Ferrati ; shortly before the war he appeared in the Luigi Carinis ensemble .

From 1931 on, he was one of the most booked film actors in his home country and was seen in numerous successes; after the Second World War he often played on stage with Vivi Gioi and Vittorio De Sica ; a great later success was Siamo tutti milanesi in 1952. Then he found several jobs in television films.

Besozzi was married twice.
