Marcelo D'Ambrosio (* 20th century) is a Uruguayan canoeist .

Marcelo D'Ambrosio was one of the participants in the XV. South American Canoeing Championships 1997 in November of that year in Chile . At this event he started in the K1 in the junior class over 1000 meters and finished third behind Roger Caumo (Brazil) and Cesar de Cesare . He was also third behind Matias Alac (Argentina) and Caumo over 500 meters . In the junior K2 over this distance he reached 2nd place together with Pelayo Soria . D'Ambrosio took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1998 South American Games in Cuenca . There he won a total of six bronze medals. These were divided into the categories K1 (200 meters), K1 (500 meters), K1 (1000 meters), K2 (200 meters), K4 (200 meters) and K4 (500 meters). Among other things, in 2001 he was six-time Uruguayan champion over the 200-meter, 500-meter and 1000-meter courses in one and two, also over these three distances alongside Andrés Cardozo . In the following year at the South American Games in Brazil in 2002 he won silver in the K1 over 200 meters and bronze over 500 meters. His third participation in these ODESUR games in 2006 resulted in a silver medal in the K1 over 1000 meters. He was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the Pan American Games in 1999 , 2003 and 2007 . There and at the South American Games in Medellín in 2010 , however, he was denied another winner's podium.
